Lana Del Rey is set to contribute two original songs to Tim Burton's new film, Big Eyes.
The film stars Amy Adams as the painter Margaret Keane, and the struggles she had with her husband, played by Christoph Waltz, who claimed credit for her work in the 1960s.
As The Hollywood Reporter points out, Del Rey will be responsible for the film's title track, which appears prominently in the middle of the film, as well as 'I Can Fly', which plays over the closing credits.
The singer is no stranger to film soundtracks - she covered 'Once Upon A Dream' for Disney's Maleficent, and also wrote 'Young and Beautiful' for last year's Baz Luhrmann-directed version of The Great Gatsby.

News of the two soundtrack songs is already generating hope for an Academy Award nomination for Del Rey, after she was, in Time magazine's words, "brutally snubbed" by the academy last year.
