The Interview's K-pop artists threaten to sue over unsanctioned music

Two K-Pop artists have threatened to sue Sony, due to the unsanctioned use of their music in The Interview.

Married singers Tiger JK and Yoon Mi Rae were reportedly in talks to feature their song 'Payday' in the film, but a contract was never signed. Despite this, it still appeared for 10-15 seconds, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Now their agency FeelGhoodMusic is threatening legal action.

"There were initial discussions about including the song in the film score," reads a statement, "but negotiations stopped so we were under the impression that it wasn't happening. It was only after the film was released that we became aware of the song's unauthorized use, without taking the appropriate and necessary steps to complete a contract with the artists."??

The highly controversial film was initially cancelled following the Sony hack and terrorist threats, but has since been released on VOD services. Despite being not very good...
