The making of Nicki Minaj’s third album ‘The Pinkprint’ will be the subject of an MTV documentary entitled ‘Nicki Minaj: My Time Again’.
The TV special is a sequel to the 2010 MTV documentary ‘Nicki Minaj: My Time Now’ which gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Minaj’s debut album ‘Pink Friday’.

Whilst the documentary is sure to show Minaj enjoying herself and her achievements, it appears as though her more emotional side will be exposed, too. During the trailer Minaj reveals: “When I’m faced with crazy adversities, I turn on a switch that I don’t even know I have sometimes. Every human needs to push themselves to the point of breaking sometimes. If you never break, you never know how much pressure you can take.”
Minaj recently spoke to Rolling Stone about how she was apprehensive to reveal very personal stories on ‘The Pinkprint’: “One of my goals was to give people a glimpse into my personal life, because it’s something I’ve kept very private. I struggled with, ‘Do I express these feelings?’ And I decided there’s no reason for me to hide. I’m a vulnerable woman, and I’m proud of that.”
‘Nicki Minaj: My Time Again’ will air Sunday, January 18th on MTV.
The ‘Bed of Lies’ rapper will be touring in the UK in the Spring. For tickets and information visit Gigwise Tickets.
