In recent times, producers have become almost as much of a powerful presence as the artist they're working for.
The likes of Rick Rubin, Paul Epworth and Pharrell Williams are some of the most sought-out names in the music business, with artists paying hundreds of thousands for the chance to have a track blessed with their golden touch.
