The director of Lana Del Rey's 'Shades of Cool' video has shared his cut of the glamorous visuals. Check it out below.
This new version of the video for the latest single from Ultraviolence details Lana's relationship with a much older man, who seems a little bit dodgy. The first cut of the video insinuated all was not well between the two; in director Jake Nava's version, there's a brief stabbing shot and a scene where Lana appears to be drowning.
There's speculation the video's content was changed at the last minute due to the controversy that arose over Del Rey's "I wish I was dead" comments in an interview with The Guardian.
This version is the cut that Nava, who also directed the visuals for Beyonce's 'Partition', Arctic Monkeys' 'Arabella' and Kanye West's 'Monster', wanted us to see. Check it out here.
