The Twilight Sad have announced a new album, with the first single available to stream online now, listen below.
Nobody Wants To Be Here And Nobody Wants To Leave will be the group’s fourth studio album and looks set for release in October, however fans can hear the first taster, a new track called ‘There’s A Girl In The Corner’ right now.
Atmospheric, haunting and lyrically draped in that synonymous Scottish misery, ‘There’s A Girl In The Corner’ is another heartfelt classic from The Twilight Sad, subtly building in intensity throughout yet refraining from needless exaggeration.
Listen to ‘There’s A Girl In The Corner’ below:
Speaking about the forthcoming record, frontman James Graham has stated “I think it's a testament to the music we've written and the people who support our band that we've got this far,”
“Everyone always says their new album is their best, I'm not going to say that. I love all of our albums as they document that time in our lives be it good or bad. All I'll say is that I am extremely proud of the record and I hope everyone loves it as much as I do.”
The tracklist is:
01 - There's A Girl In The Corner
02 - Last January
03 - I Could Give You All That You Don't Want
04 - It Never Was The Same
05 - Drown So I Can Watch
06 - In Nowheres
07 - Nobody Wants To Be Here And Nobody Wants To Leave
08 - Pills I Swallow
09 - Leave The House
10 - Sometimes I Wished I Could Fall Asleep
