Kanye West stopped in the street to listen to an aspiring rapper last night, and subsequently asked the man if he'd be willing to work as his assistant. Watch the video below.
The rapper was leaving Big Sean's LA show with Justin Bieber when he was approached by Cameron Grey, who asked West if he could freestyle for him. In the TMZ video, West tells his security to step aside so he can listen, and Grey starts nervously but passionately freestyling for him.
At one point in the video, Justin Bieber - who Grey, much to his credit, shows little to no interest in - shouts, "Spit some more bars." When Grey is finished rapping, West asks him, "Would you be open to start off as, like, an assistant?" to which he replies, "Man I'm down to start anything, I just wanna learn, man." "You gotta start somewhere," concludes West.
At the end of the video, Grey walks off screaming, "Woo! Fuck yes!" He subsequently took to Twitter to write, "You gotta show up for the miracle to happen."
