After years of waiting, the brilliant Say Lou Lou are finally streaming their debut album, Lucid Dreaming.
We've in love with the sweet sounds of the Australian-Swedish twin duo for a few years now, but their full album is now about to drop - and you can stream it over at NPR.
The perfect blend of their cool and subtle pop-noir sounds, elevated by some more swooping cinematic elements and several doses of warm and pumping disco, Lucid Dreaming is every bit the debut we'd hope it would be - and well worth the wait.
"People think we're a lot colder than we are," Miranda Kilbey told Gigwise last year. "We're actually very talkative and very happy and silly. That's the only thing that people don't know about us, but time will tell. I feel like every song we've released has been warmer and warmer, so it's going to get warmer. The album is pretty warm, it's pretty fun - a lot more than people would imagine."
Twin sister Elektra added: "Yes, and more rhythmic. Not as floaty as people might think. From the beginning and our parents' heritage, we've listened to a lot of rock and indie music our whole life. Being floaty pop music in the beginning wasn't accidental, but it wasn't the only side of us."
