London's loss was New York's gain when Bright Light Bright Light upped and left his Hackney home for the glamour of NYC, but since his Stateside relocation, the star's career has gone from strength to strength.
BLx2 (real name Rod Thomas, he's Welsh) has today premiered his new, intentionally quite sexy, new video 'Believe' on Gigwise. Check it out below.
The video kicks off with somewhat traditional Bright Light Bright Light images of the singer/songwriter posing quite moodily in a nice shirt, before ditching the gloom (and the clothes) for a swimming pool romp with a load of beautiful, glistening youngsters. It's a glorious, if slightly unrealistic, suggestion of what we should all be getting up to on what is set to be one of the hottest weekends of the summer.
The track is taken from Bright Light Bright Light's second album, Life Is Easy, and is an irresistable slice of upbeat electropop, which sees the rising star dip his toes into the EDM world, as well as that lovely-looking water. Watch the video below.
