Savages frontwoman Jenny Beth has announced the band will take a break in 2017, after a year of extensive touring.

In a recent interview with Loud & Quiet, Beth said: "We're taking a break from Savages because we haven't taken a break between the two records at all - we took a month, I remember."

Beth went on to hint at potential solo material in the works for 2017: I’ve kept writing a lot so I’ve got a lot of songs right now that I don’t know what I’m going to do with yet." she said. "They’re for something else, not Savages. Pursuing the collaborations.

It was said in the interview that the new work could be revealed as early as January. Keep your eyes peeled.

A chaotic show at Brixton Academy brought the band's hectic 'Adore Life' album cycle to an epic close last month, and it seems the band have more than earned some quiet time away.
