Katy Perry has shared Instagram posts of her working on new material in the studio. Check out the clips below.
The popstar used the social media site's atory feature to share behind the scenes videos of her working process, which were promptly saved by fans and shared across the internet.
Giving an insight into her studio antics, Perry captioned the post: "I drew on my tooth with a sharpie for fun and now it won't come off," while a snippet of new music played in the background. One clip includes the lyrics "Don't be scared to..." while the other is an instrumental track with backing vocals.
Katy posted a split second of a song from the studio! Don't be scared to die? don't be scared to cry? Whatcha think? https://t.co/IyuwFuObFf pic.twitter.com/j1G4mhR1Ie

Perry hinted at new music earlier this month on Instagram, while posting in support of Hillary Clinton, stating: "I am continually inspired by her strength and how she continues to rise like the Phoenix she is, every time. It’s funny, sometimes people who disagree with me just say, “Shut up and sing.” Boy, will I do so in a whole new way… next year. Hell hath no fury like a woman REBORN.”
Perry supported Clinton throughout her presidential campaign, and performed live at her rally in November.
We last heard music from Perry, when her track 'Rise' was used for NBC's Olympic coverage this year, with her last studio album 'Prism' being released in 2013.
