One of the first great rock tours of 2015, You Me At Six and All Time Low are set for a date at The O2 in less than a fortnight. To mark the occasion we asked frontmen Josh Franceschi and Alex Gaskarth for the best advice they have ever received.

All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth's came from Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz. "Our best advice was to trust our guts as a band," he said. "It's happened a lot throughout our careers where we've been influenced by outside opinions a little too much. Especially with the fact we've just made a new record - everybody has an opinion. In the past we've been swayed just out of pure naivety. If it feels right to you, that's what's right with your music."

You Me At Six's Josh Franceschi's advice comes from Ian Grushka from New Found Glory. After being booed and heckled throughout their support slot a bunch of 17 year old musicians, Grushka's respone was to shrug off the band's brutal reception. "The best thing about that is that they win if it bothers you" Grushka explained to Franceschi. "You've really got to spend less energy on people that are never going to like your band and are never going to want to see you do well. And more time and energy and more care on those who do show interest and do support you. If you do that you'll be successful."
