Two people have been killed in the early hours of the morning during a shooting at Drake's OVO Fest after-party.

The shooting happened at a Toronto nightclub, Muzik, located across the bridge from the Molson Amphitheatre where the OVO Fest concert took place. Two were left dead, described as a man and a woman in their 20s and 30s.

In the early hours of the morning, Diana Petrucci from CP 24 Breaking News, reported: "Toronto paramedics have confirmed that one person has been pronounced dead; three others are in life-threatening condition following a shooting that broke out just outside of Muzik nightclub at Dufferin and Gardiner area, which, of course, is the Ex grounds."

The second death occurred in the hospital later that night.

The incident started inside Muzik nightclub around 3:30am ET (8:30am GMT), police informed media on the scene. One or two people were shot at the bar before the shootings took place on the street. 

The OVO Fest featured sets from J.Cole, YG and Drake bringing on special guests Kanye West and Pharrell.
