Apple Music have finally made their app available on Android in the UK and further afield, four months after launching on iOS, OSX and Windows. This may further cost the company's competitors, such as Spotify, who've been relying on the app's limited availability to continue to compete.
The Android version of the app is currently only a beta, but only two of the iOS features won't be available - beginning a family membership with the app, and Apple Connect's music videos.
Speaking to Billboard, Apple's Eddy Cue said, simply, "If you've used it on iOS, you've used it for Android." The controversial three-month free trial will also be availbale on android - for which, thanks to Taylor Swift, musicians will now be compensated.
The streaming service has proven extremely popular since it launched back in June - it currently has 6.5 million paying subscribers and 8.5 million users. This puts it at second place in the streaming market, behind Spotify's 20 million paying subscribers, despite being just a few months old.
Now, even if you have an android, you can listen to the dulcit tones of St. Vincent as she delivers her mixtape on her Beats 1 show - another feature of Apple Music.
