The Good Charlotte boys are back with Mikey Way for 'Makeshift Love'

We're guessing they ran out of cash...

Good Charlotte no longer hopeless with new songs Makeshift Love Photo:

Girls and boys, ladies and gentleman. Good Charlotte have returned with one of their first new songs in four years, 'Makeshift Love'. We're guessing that there's a new album on the way as well. Watch the video below.

Re-emerging after announcing the end of their four year hiatus, the new video features My Chemical Romance's Mikey Way and longtime producer John Feldmann helping the no longer young (still possibly hopeless) band figure out a way to spread some love in their local neighbourhood.

The band's fifth studio album, Cardiology, came out back in 2010. During an interview with Rolling Stone a year later, they said they'd be stepping "away from the grind of making records and touring for a minute." They're officially back with new music after many thought they'd never be re-emerging.

Watch the video for 'Makeshift Love' below

You'll be able to catch Good Charlotte when they support All Time Low on their UK and Ireland tour in February of next year. Take a look at the tour dates below and head here for tickets and more information about the shows.
