Michael Bublé has reportedly pulled out of hosting this year's BRIT Awards to focus on his son's recovery from cancer.
A source has told The Sun newspaper that the singer has made the "difficult call" to step down from the role, saying is "priority is his family" at this time, which is understandable.
Bublé announced in November that his son Noah was undergoing treatment for liver cancer and stated that he and his wife Luisana had "put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well."
The BRIT Awards are reportadly in the process of finding a replacement host.
Bublé confirmed he would host the event back in October, following And & Dec, who have hosted for the previous two years. Other previous hosts include James Corden, Kylie Minogue, The Osbournes and Russell Brand.
Gigwise caught Bublé live at London's Roundhouse last year, and described the show as "a one-hour masterclass on how to perform at the very highest quality with plenty of charisma to match".
Meanwhile, the nominations for 2017's BRIT Awards were announced last week, with nominees including David Bowie, The 1975, Skepta and Blossoms.
The BRIT Awards 2017 will take place February 22 at London's 02 Arena.
