Drake has become the latest rapper to respond to Kendrick Lamar's 'Control' lyrics in which he called out a number of his rapping peers.

Lamar's controversial lyrics caused a bit of a stir within the rap community as he claimed to be one of the best MCs of all time whilst saying he was trying to 'murder' the likes of Drake, A$AP Rocky, Wale, Big Sean and Pusha T.

However, Drake failed to see what the fuss was all about and he doesn't believe Lamar was 'murdering' him at all.

Drake told Billboard: "I didn't really have anything to say about it. It just sounded like an ambitious thought to me.

"That's all it was. I know good and well that Kendrick's not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic."

He said: "The irony of that line is that the people who actually understood it and got it were the actual kings of New York, you know, me sitting down with them this past week, and them understanding, it’s not actually about being the king of whatever coast, it’s about leaving a mark as great as Biggie, as great as Pac."

It%u2019s big enough now,%u201D in an interview with Sky Arts. It's over to you Bono...

  • Louis Walsh vs Cheryl Cole: Kicking off with Cole claiming Walsh had only been involved in Girls Aloud to 'collect the cheques', Walsh later hit back suggesting Cheryl should take vocal coaching before attempting her 2012 music comeback. The two have seemingly patched up their difference, but things got nasty - fast - and we'd put money on this one rearing its head again before two long...
