RockNess festival in Scotland has been cancelled after organisers posted the announcement on Facebook.
The event, which usually takes place in early June, is taking a break this year.
Festival organisers said it was because of competition from the World Cup and Commonwealth Games that they’d decided to call off proceedings.They said the events would likely deter crowds from attending the three-day bash held on the banks of the Loch Ness.

The Facebook post read: "We'd like to thank you for your support over the last eight years. Due to the addition of a number of events alongside the World Cup and the Commonwealth Games we’ve decided to take a year off. We’re using this break to make the event bigger and better than ever in 2015 so have an amazing summer and see you back at the Loch next year!"
RockNess has previously seen acts like The Vaccines, Ellie Goulding, Biffy Clyro and Jessie Ware play at the festival.
