Macaulay Culkin's Pizza Underground band have cancelled their remaining European tour dates, less than a week after a disastrous gig in Nottingham at the UK's Dot To Dot festival.
The band were scheduled to appear at Primavera Sound yesterday (31 May), following by shows in Hull, Gloucester, Southampton and Bedford. All of these dates have now been cancelled.
Pizza Underground, who are a pizza-themed tribute act to The Velvet Underground fronted by Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, tweeted their apologies to fans.
sad that we had to cancel UK shows. Believe it or not we had fun! But all good things must end, and sometimes suddenly and w/o explanation.

Macaulay Culkin rose to fame back in 1990 with the hugely successful Home Alone series. Since then, his acting career has faded significantly, though he has remained the subject of tabloid speculation due to frequent arrests and substance abuse problems.
The band were performing at the Nottingham leg of the Dot To Dot festival on 25 May when they were pelted with beer and booed, before Culkin "stormed off" after just 15 minutes.
