The rain has begun to pour down on the early arrivals at Glastonbury Festival 2014.
Those who arrived a day early yesterday or this morning (Thursday 26 June), enjoyed glorious sunshine over the fields of Worthy Farm - but that came to an end earlier than expected as lashings of rain began to fall across the site at around 2.30pm - with it predicted to last into the evening, and reappear across the weekend.
There were already approximately 91,494 Glasto-fans on site this morning, with thousands of festival-goers were caught in the downpour as they attempted to rush to put up their tents, as many more flooded into camping area in the rain. It's not all bad news, as there's plenty of indoors entertainment taking place tonight - from the likes of Despacio, Two Bears, East India Youth, Luxury and many more.
We were already set up when the heavens opened, so we're pretty happy - and stay tuned for the latest on-site news, reviews and updates from Gigwise at Glastonbury 2014.
The latest weather forecast for Glastonbury 2014 is as follows:
Thursday 26 June: Light and heavy rain at periods into the evening, easing off around 7pm.
Friday 27 June: The rain will begin at around 10am, and continue in pretty epic proportions at intervals well into the late evening.
Saturday 28 June: More intervals of light rain, all day and into the evening - but with a chance of sunshine. Hooray.
Sunday 29 June: Sunny intervals all day long - with no rain forecast. That will be nice.
