His tearful, emotional campaign has flopped. Hard

You know you want it? Well, probably not. Robin Thicke's new album, Paula, was released this week - and it seems unlikely to win back his ex-wife or score him much in the way of chart success, having sold a mere 530 copies in the UK.

Thicke came to notoriety with his 2013 single 'Blurred Lines' and his subsequent crotch-thrusting, Miley Cyrus-gyrating actions (and a few reports of infidelity) led to the break down of his marriage to actress Paula Patton. New album Paula is an attempt to win her back with embarrassing videos, crying at award ceremonies and creepy song titles.

The album is released this week, and according to reports has shifted a meagre 530 copies in the UK, reaching No.200 in the midweek charts. In his homeland he has done slightly better with an estimated sales of 25,000, but considering the size of his former fanbase across the pond, this is all rather embarrassing.

Perhaps the British public are too busy to spend time worrying about a man who won't take no for an answer trying to convince a woman we don't really know that she should give him a second chance.
