Lars Ulrich has tipped AC/DC as one of the acts set to headline Glastonbury Festival in 2015.
The Metallica drummer has weighed in on the debate, after Eavis hinted that he had already booked next years act. At a press conference this year he said: "It is a British artist? He's definitely British, but the band are not British any more". Sparking much speculation as to who the next big band could be.
"Foo Fighters would blow that shit up," Ulrich told Q magazine. "Can I throw in my first bid for who I think Michael Eavis has booked for next year? I have heard it might be a band whose lead singer is British, but none of the rest of the band are. Yeah… AC/DC. Come on! Can you imagine that?"

A lot was also made of the fact Eavis said that he made the booking while watching Metallica from the side of the stage. Considering that Metallica and AC/DC share a manager, it makes the prospect even more likely.
Currently however Angus Young has taken leave of the band to recover from illness in hospital. Brian Johnson later confirmed this in an interview but is confident that the guitarist will return in the future.
