Mick Hucknall has requested that everybody "just move on" following claims the Simply Red frontman had slept with over 1000 women.
Often referred to as Mick 'Yucknall' due to his infamous sexul exploits, the singer did nothing to endear himself to the public after discussing the assertion with the Telegraph, revealing: "I’ve not denied that but I never claimed it. I never bragged about it. I don’t keep count. I’ve no idea, but I would think over a 25-year period that’s probably reasonable to say."
Speaking to Digital Spy at The Royal Variety Performance, the singer addressed the extreme interest in his bed-hopping habits saying: "I'm starting to think that journalists in the entertainment industry are obsessed with sex because the truth is, they keep asking me the question. And you need to have a lawyer with you to kind of answer these things sometimes. But I would say this, please make it stop."
"It's a long, long time ago. I've been in a relationship since 2003, I'm now married with a seven-year-old daughter. It's way, way in the past and I think now the best thing I can do is say, 'look, can we move on?' I think they should just kind of call it a day now and move on and be sex maniacs with someone else."
