Noel Gallagher has once again teased that he's open to playing this year's Glastonbury Festival. Not only that, but he's released a new video for new single 'Ballad Of The Mighty I', which you can check out below.
The Oasis icon turned solo star has long been rumoured to appear at Glasto this year - either in his own right or with his former band. However, speaking to the XFM Breakfast Show with Jon Holmes, the guitar hero remained typically coy.
"No it's still very much up in the air as far as I know," said Noel. "If I'm not playing, I'm going! So I'll be there. I always keep that weekend free if I can. I will state again I'm available, I'm gonna be there, shall I bring my amp and guitar? Shall I?"
He also spun the first play of his new single 'Ballad Of The Mighty I' featuring Johnny Marr, before it's online video premiere.
"Johnny Marr does feature heavily on the track," said Noel of the track. "The really good bits are Johnny's. The bits that are just alright, they're mine!"
The video start off pretty meta, with a hipster director urging Noel to "keep it livid and dangerous" before he bumps into some troubled souls down what appears to be London's Regent's Canal and ends in a searing performance of the track.
