Toro Y Moi has announced details of a new album, What For?, along with a brand new song. Listen below.
What For? will be released via Carpark Records on 7 April, and 'Empty Nesters' is the first track to be taken from it.
This will be Bundick's fourth studio album under the moniker Toro Y Moi (he has a dance side project under the name Les Sins), and if 'Empty Nesters' is anything to go by, it will mark a slight change in sound for the electronic artist.

The main notable change from 2013's Anything In Return is the addition of more instruments. It's a little bit funky and it's very jaunty, with a fuller sound and resplendent guitars throughout - a move away from the electronic R&B and chillwave vibes he's been associated with in the past.
However, it's a smooth transition, and Bundick says himself, "It's all coming from the same mindset and point of creativity. It's just me trying to take what I already have, and then take it further."
With contributions from Julian Lynch and Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Ruban Nielson, What For? looks set to be an album to get excited about.
