The website's sources claim that Calvin Broadus Jr. (Snoop's real name) is looking to raise $25 million to fund his business venture, but no specific details have emerged yet.
The venture is not expected to have anything to do with the cultivation or production of marijuana, which is legal in some states of America - instead, it will focus on technology affiliated with the industry.
This isn't the first business investment in which the rapper has been involved - he's previously invested in Reddit and stock trading platform Robinhood.
