Kendal Calling have announced a partnership with Virgin Trains - which will see both Beardyman and Black Rivers perform onboard.
One of the most carefully crafted festival line-ups this summer, the multi-award-winning Peak District event had already revealed that headlining would be Elbow, Kaiser Chiefs, The Vaccines, James and Snoop Dogg - with the likes of British Sea Power, Billy Bragg, Public Service Broadcasting, The Horrors, Kodaline and more also on the bill.
Now they've announced that even travelling to the festival will be an enjoyable process. They've teamed up with Virgin Trains and have chartered the "Kendal-ino Express" - non-stop between Manchester Piccadilly and Penrith. On board will be performances from two Gigwise favourites: beatboxer and sonic adventurer Beardyman and Noel Gallagher favourites' Black Rivers.

The train departs on 30 July at 10am and returns on 3 August and start from £52.50 (excluding your ticket to the festival itself).
