Award winner says ceremony was 'tame'

Double award winner Ben Howard has revealed that last week's BRIT Awards were a relatively tame affair, and that One Direction weren't popular among other attendees.
Some have said that the award shows were fairly conservative, and Robbie Williams even recently issued a curse-filled track mocking the ceremony.
Howard repeated these criticisms, and said the night suffered for a lack of rock bands.
"It was definitely a pretty tame award show. There weren't many rock groups there. You heard this audible groan around the hall when One Direction were up for Best Group."
The Devon-born singer/songwriter took home two awards, Best Male Solo and Best British Breakthrough Act, but has said he hopes he won't lose his relative anonymity.
"I hope the BRITs hasn't ruined anything. I may have shot myself in the foot. I have platinum-selling record but I can walk around fine," he told The Sun.
"I got told that 'Who the f*ck is Ben Howard' was trending on Twitter, I like the idea of it. I was never in music to make it to awards shows. I sh*t myself when the paparazzi were taking photos.
"It was bizarre but the nice thing was most of photographers were still like, 'Who is ths guy?'."
Ben Howard will be headlining Green Man festival this year
Howard experienced a 4,600 percent boost in record sales on a leading online retailer following his BRITs triumph.
He'll be celebrating with a headline slot at this year's Green Man festival in the summer.
