$600 million earned since death isn't enough
by Ed Keeble
According to recent reports, there is potential for eight more Michael Jackson albums from beyond the grave.
According to reports from Rolling Stone, there are enough outtakes and discarded tracks to create eight more albums from unused Jackson recordings. Following the global success of the recent Xscape, it seems a given that Sony will be looking to emulate the same process.
A producer on the most recent album, Rodney Jerkins promised: "We got more surprises coming". At the same time, engineer Matt Forger said that "It was frequent that Michael would record songs and put them on the shelf".

The Jackson Estate has failed to comment on exactly how much of this discarded material will be usable in the end. It is however fairly clear that another album will be in the works, particularly with Jackson's status as the highest grossing dead pop star, amassing earnings of over $600 million (£350 million).
