The EDM industry is worth an incredible $6.2billion, according to new reports - which goes some way to explaining why Calvin Harris always looks so bloody happy. He is literally rolling in money.
The explosion in the dance and EDM comes from the huge fees paid for club appearances and the popularity of festival events such as Las Vegas's Electric Daisy Carnival, where club kids from across America flock to the Nevada desert to listen to banging house music and fill themselves with as much MDMA as is humanly possible.
