We talked to audience members after their set

Outkast's appearance at Bestival has no doubt been much anticipated for quite some time, with the legendary duo having a lot to live up with last night's performance, their only UK festival headline slot on a lengthy comeback tour.
After 20 years in the spotlight Andre 3000 and Big Boi are no doubt accustomed to huge shows, which meant the real questions lied in whether they'd be able to keep a young crowd interested throughout the whole set, getting a typically divisive festival crowd onside rather than just playing to an audience eagerly awaiting 'Hey Ya'.
Of course there was an air of anticipation for the hits throughout the set, and the amount of people leaving after each classic was at times disconcerting, however we felt the duo pulled a remarkably unique headline-worthy performance out the bag, playing to their musical strengths and rapping ability rather than unnecessary theatrics, whilst providing something for everyone by offsetting lesser known cuts with the naturally huge classics.
You can read our full report here, but don't just take our word for it, here's what the audience thought of Outkast's headline slot, immediately after the duo left the stage.
"That was bloody incredible, it was everything I wanted from them... ahhh i'm so happy right now" Joe Edwards, 19, Dudley
"Awesome, just awesome! You could tell people were waiting for certain songs but the atmosphere was still great though" Mike Richardson, 35, Southampton
"To be honest, at times I was a bit bored, but only because i've never listened to them properly before" Georgie Nicholls, 18, Reading
"They smashed it, I loved every second of it, that was so much better than I expected" Andrew Roberts, 26, Newport
"I enjoyed it, but they were on for a bit too long, i'm not sure if they should have headlined" Charlotte, 22, Bournemouth
"That might be the best thing i've ever watched. Seriously, it was perfect." Courtney Armstrong Clarke, 23, London
"It was boring, but my boyfriend likes them so I kind of had to watch them, 'Roses' was fun but the rest of it isn't really my thing" Anna Hethers, 28, Portsmouth
"Ohh my they were the best, it was a shame more people weren't into the older stuff but they were on top form, so good" Liam Knox, 24, Bournemouth
Outkast currently have no more UK dates lined up, however Bestival continues throughout the weekend with Foals headlining the main stage tonight (6 September), and performances from London Grammar, Wild Beasts, SBTRKT and more also expected throughout the day.
