The Mercury Prize 2014 shortlist has been announced - to a mixed reaction from music fans. The likes of Jungle, Nick Mulvey, Anna Calvi, FKA Twigs, Royal Blood and... Go Go Penguin are amongst those nominated.
Some are happy with the nominations - or at least celebrating that their favourite artist has got a nod.

The announcement was made at the Hospital Club in London's Covent Garden by Alice Levine. The final winner will be announced at London Roundhouse on 29 October.
