The Flaming Lips teamed up with Miley Cyrus to cover The Beatles' 'A Day In The Life' on 'Conan' on Thursday night (6 November).
Bringing their glittering, psychadelic spectacle to the show, the band were joined by Miley Cyrus for a trippy re-working of The Beatles classic. Cyrus remains obscured under frontman, Wayne Coynes' panoramic silver cape in the first quarter, before emerging and being hugged against his chest later on in the electro-pop version of the song.
Watch the endearingly bonkers video below:
The brilliant cover is included on the Lips' recently released, collaborative remake of The Beatles' major Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Band album, 'With a Little Help From My Fwends'. In addition to "A Day in the Life," Cyrus also added her voice to "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds"; other 'Fwends' include Tegan & Sara, My Morning Jacket and Tool's Maynard James Keenan.
'With a Little Help From My Fwends' is out now.
