Backed with statement-making production, Ella's sultry vocal tones ride drum samples that capture the boom but not the grit of 808s. Ella On The Run is the kind of popstar you feel in your chest, and that's not just because of the high-calibre bass production.
The video follows the misadventures of a Playmobile cowboy who breaks free from the clutches of a studio apartment to explore the city streets on his own agenda. It's your standard liberation storyline - with the exception that the protagonist is made of plastic. Keep your eye out for a part of the video where our noble hero buries his own horse - truly sinister stuff.
