Sun Kil Moon's Mark Kozelek has continued his confusing feud with The War On Drugs by releasing a new song called, 'War On Drugs: Suck My Cock'. Listen to it below.
The feud (for want of a better word) began when both acts were performing at the same time at the Ottawa Folk Fest, when Kozelek complained that TWOD's set could be heard from his stage, and jokingly introduced a song as, "The War On Drugs Can Suck My Fucking Dick."
Can anyone confirm that mark kozelek was talking shit on us during his set in Ottawa last night? Cuz we obviously booked the schedule....wtf

Seems like it might have been at least partially in jest so whatever. Just upsetting to me as a fan that's all. We're just doin' what we do

After The War On Drugs understandably took the joke to heart, Kozelek issued a statement insisting the remarks were not personal, before releasing another statement pointing out that he was not apologising. He then invited the band to join him onstage to perform a song he wrote called 'War On Drugs: Suck My Cock/Sun Kil Moon: Go Fuck Yourself'.
They didn't respond to the invitation, so he's released his own song, conspicuously free of the 'Sun Kil Moon: Go Fuck Yourself' part, which you can listen to here.
The War On Drugs haven't yet responded to the flattering new song Sun Kil Moon has dedicated to them.
