Bjork consistently proves that she is far more than a mere musician. Thus her achievements are going to be recognised at the retrospective exhibition simply entitled ‘Bjork’.
The exhibition will run from March 8th to June 7th at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Bjork has shared a trailer for the exhibit’s centerpiece, ‘Black Lake’ which is described as an “immersive 10-minute music and film experience” inspired by a track from her new album Vulnicura.

Only 100 visitors will be allowed to enter the exhibit at a time. Visitors will be wearing headphones as they enter rooms which will revolve around one of her solo albums. Other interesting things to be seen in the exhibit include iconic costumes, and interviews with her collaborators.
Recently, Bjork rush-released her latest album Vulnicura as it was leaked on the internet a mere week after the album’s announcement. The record is Bjork’s most confessional to date and the singer told The New York Times of the lyrical content: “Usually, I don’t really talk about my private life, but with this album there’s no two ways about what it is. I separated during this album, ended a 13-year relationship, and it’s probably the toughest thing I’ve done.”
