Shake Shake Go have revealed the acoustic version of their track 'England Skies'. Watch it on Gigwise first below.
The original version of the song has had over 2.5 million streams on Spotify, and is the first track to be released from their upcoming EP, which is due for release on 9 March and is also titled England Skies.
This delightful video sees the French/Welsh five-piece performing the song in the idyllic woodlands of Normandy, France, with lead singer Poppy Jones accompanied by co-founding member Marc Le Goff and the other three band members on gentle percussion. Jones' voice - soft yet strong, and wise beyond her years - is what underpins the track, and it's brought out in a delightful way by this acoustic version.

Jones and Le Goff met whilst studying in London - Jones' vocals the perfect complement to the music Le Goff wanted to make, and this video is a full return to the band's folk roots in the perfect setting. The band have supported the likes of Rodrigo y Gabriela, Dan Croll and James Blunt, but now seem set to take the UK by force in their own right with their blend of lilting folk melodies and gorgeous acoustic intricacy.
