Speaking of 'All The Sad Young Men' to Gigwise, Spector said, "Our original recording of it was kind of a bit 'Arcade Fire on a bad day, Snow Patrol on a medium day.' I don't know if it's much a message per se, but it's like a signpost that we wrote it as much for ourselves as anyone."
They added, "It's just kind of a tune to say 'It's OK to not know, and it's OK to feel disenchanted'. Maybe every generation feels disenchanted, but I know I did at that age, but I think for young people now the UK is a bit of a mess."
This week, the band also announced an extensive UK tour for October, which kicks off in Bristol, before continuing on to Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Newcastle and more, finishing up in London's Heaven at the end of the month.
