Foals have unleashed their new song 'A Knife In The Ocean', alongside a visually stunning lyric video. Listen and watch below.
The track will be included on the band’s fourth studio album, What Went Down, which will be released 28 August. The record was recorded in the south of France with James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco, who previously worked with Klaxons, Mumford & Sons and Arctic Monkeys.
Foals spoke with Q earlier in the year, explaining that What Went Down will sound “more extreme" than Holy Fire, and was inspired by a meagre "130 bottles of red wine." With the tracks that we've heard so far, we're confident tha the band will continue pushing their sound further afield than before.
If the tracks sounds familiar, it's because the band premiered it on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show on 16 June.

WIth their new album release around the corner, Foals are sure to be announcing some UK dates soon. Keep your eyes peeled here for tickets and more information.
