Charli XCX has responded to criticism of her live show in a series of tweets, saying, "I literally want to smash their face into a wall."
Having just finished a mammoth US tour, she addressed calls that the production for her stage show was 'minimal', questioning whether they had been watching the same set. After listing the many aspects of it, she signs off with a simple 'bye'.
Fans will be hoping that this won't affect her forthcoming festival dates - her next UK show is scheduled at this year's Reading & Leeds.
whenever reviewers criticize my show for having "minimal production" I literally want to smash their face into a wall....
