Deerhunter have surprised fans by unveiling details of their new album, Fading Frontier.
Having posted a mysterious countdown on their website over the weekend, the band have confirmed what many suspected and announced their seventh LP. It was announced prior to frontman Bradford Cox's two hour stint on Atlanta radio station 1690 AM and is the follow up to 2013's acclaimed Monomania.
Along with a 16 October release date, Deerhunter also revealed a new single - the swaggering 'Snakeskin' and its unsettling video.
