Great news everyone, Grimes is finally back and has gifted us the most Grimes-y video of her entire career. Suffice to say, Twitter is very excited.
Yesterday Grimes dropped the video for 'Flesh Without Blood/Life in the Vivid Dream' which is a dazzling collection of colourful visuals featuring Grimes in a variety of over-the-top costumes playing tennis, jumping on a bed, playing video games and a tonne of other activities that seem to have no relevence to one another. But who cares when it's this much fun?
'Flesh' itself is a bass driven pop smash with a subtle nod to the duality between low and high frequencies as the rigid basslines drives continosuly below a constantly shifting blend of falsetto and whispy synths. The track switches up halfway through to the clarity of 'Life In A Vivid Dream' which is a sentimental piano ballad, well, as close to a piano ballad Grimes could get.

It's a common fact that Grimes' fanbase is the dangerous combination of excitable and Twitter savvy. Here are just some of the thousands of Twitter responses to the new track.

While the majority of the internet is just so super stoked about the release of Grimes' new album, Art Angels, which is out 6 November, this one Twitter user does not cower away from tackling the big issues. He does raise a fair point.
Grimes fans are all sweaty guys in their late 20s who consider themselves intellectuals and complain about how she's selling out
