Premiere: Check out the wild rock and roll of King Korea and their 'Zoo Generation'

Definitely one for fans of The Black Keys, The Cramps and Dead Kennedys

Personality voices are seemingly hard to come by in rock music, especially in the UK. The lowest common denominator of cadence and energy can be passed as 'electric' nowadays, luckily for us bands like King Korea are keeping the dream alive.

The music itself is straight-forward, no strings attached rock and roll. The drums are visceral, the guitars are overdriven and shredded to pieces and the vocals are, well, outstanding. Like a homage to Dead Kennedys' Jello Biafra ran through a distortion-pedal, Bruno G Roth squeals and barks atop these runaway riffs like he's genuinely on the lamb.

King Korea have been kind enough to share the video for their new 'Zoo Generation' single with us that features a plethora of wild-eyed visuals of riotous madness surrounded by an off-white background like a mental institute for the clinically rocked, or maybe the first containment of a zombie epidemic.

Watch the video for 'Zoo Generation' below

Speaking about the video, the band said: "This is our first single Zoo generation, which we shot with Steve Glashier. He´s worked with many bands that we admire and working with him was very inspiring. The video certainly catches the essence of King Korea, its energy, the noise and sweat."

Noise and sweat, if you're into that kind of thing be sure to swing by King Korea's gig at The Finsbury on 14 November or at least check out their social channels below:
