Honeymoon and Born To Die star Lana Del Rey experienced quite the shock this week. If you've seen the 'Video Games' star on tour, then you'll have experienced the devoted nature of her fans - but one took it a bit too far by breaking into her $3million Malibu home.
Known her pop-noir sound, retro cinematic image, melodramatic lyrics and rather morbid quotes, LDR has inspired quite the mass cult following.
Now, TMZ reports that police claim that an 'infatuated' 19-year-old fan broke into the 'Music To Watch Boys To' star's garage where he set up camp. He was discovered by a construction worker.
Fortunately, Lana Del Rey was not home, but the fanatic did make off with one of her books. He was tracked down to Burbank where he was arrested for burglary on Tuesday (1 December).
If he wanted to get closer to her, he could have just called her on her home phone by calling the Honeymoon hotline.
