US indie rockers Car Seat Headrest have announce their biggest UK gigs to date with shows at Electric Ballroom in London, Gorilla in Manchester, and Brudenell Social Club in Leeds.

The band led by Will Led by 23-year-old Will Toledo, who made 12 albums on BandCamp before getting signed to Matador, are one of the best new bands in the world right now.

The release of two albums in 2016 saw them move from hotly tipped newcomers to breakthrough bands. In New York it’s nearly impossible to get into their shows.

In the UK, he’s still widely loved having smashed it at Glastonbury and Primavera but the cat isn’t out the bag quite yet. So you’re likely to have a good chance getting a ticket to the Pavement inspired band's gig.

What’s particularly great, is how well orchestrated they are as a live unit. They switch up tempo and volume making the energetic moments all the more emphatic when they arrive. Lyrically, Toledo’s playful to sexually frank to sorrowful, often within the same song - he’s possibly one of the most inspiring young songwriters the US has at the minute.

Car Seat Headrest will play

March 23 – Electric Ballroom, London
March 24 – Gorilla, Manchester
March 26 – Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
