Frank Ocean has posted some thoughts on President Trump's inauguration, which took place on Friday.
The Blond artist took to Tumblr to express his views in regards to the size of Trump's crowd, which compared to Obama's in 2009, appeared sparse. “I’m really excited for these inauguration crowd numbers to come in. Don’t cook the books either Donald.”
Ocean said: "the world can see America divided and the chaos in the streets" and then attacked Trump's speech, saying: “Barack we love you but it would’ve been equally presidential if you would’ve just walked on out while Donald got through that struggle speech trashing your career. The majority knows man, we know you did good. We see it. The majority sees Donald for who he is too. He ain’t slick. And it’s too bad the majority doesn’t count.”
The post ends with Ocean saying how much he'll miss Obama as president, and a first family he can relate to.
Frank Ocean visited the White House back in October last year for a state dinner held for the Italian Prime Minister. He gave his first interview in three years, and when asked what he was most looking forward to that evening, replied: “Asking Obama if he had fun these last eight years.”
Frank Ocean released his second studio album Blond in August last year.
