Cat Power says she 'may have to cancel her tour' because of bankruptcy and health concerns.
The singer posted a photo on Instagram last night, accompanied by a note that explained her worries.
The 40-year-old suffers from a condition called Angeoedema, which causes swelling of the skin. She also claimed she has had problems with bankruptcy.
The note casts doubt over the remainder of her North American and European tour, of which she still has numerous dates to play- including a date at London's Roundhouse on 12 December.
The note said: "I may have to cancel my European tour due to bankruptcy & my health struggle with angioedema."

Power was keen to stress that the admission was not a sign of her giving up on music, but that she feels extensive touring may simply not be possible.
"I have not thrown in any towel, I am trying to figure out what best I can do. Heart broken. Worked so hard."
The 'Ruin' singer went on to say she fell ill immediately after the release of her 2012 album 'Sun', and felt there was a need for her to "restratagize".
The American, born Chan Marshall, announced her tour in August but confessed her health has detirieted considerably over the last three months.
"Got sick day after 'Sun' came out & been struggling to keep all points of me in equilibrium: mind, spirit, body healthy centered & grounded."
'I am doing the best I can. I fucking love this planet. I refuse to give up. Thought I may need to restratagize for my security and health."
