Kelis has made her forthcoming album Food available to stream a week ahead of its release.
The star's sixth studio album features previously aired singles 'Jerk Ribs' and 'Rumble', and promises a marked change in sound from her previous record, the electronic-tinged Flesh Tone. Released on independent label Ninja Tune, the record is produced by Dave Sitek and features appearances from CSS and Priscilla Ahn.
Kelis has previously described Food as "very dramatic". The cuisine-themed LP, which also features tracks 'Breakfast', 'Cobbler', and 'Hooch', comes as the singer launches her own cooking show, Saucy and Sweet. You can stream Food in full via NPR.
