A man has died after being taken ill at Global Gathering Festival, it has been reported.
Mixmag report that a 20-year-old man was taken from the event site at Long Marston Airfield near Stratford-Upon-Avon to Warwick hospital on Friday evening (25 July,2014) after struck by illness.
It was then confirmed that the man died early on Saturday morning, but the exact cause of death is currently unknown. A post-mortem due to take place.
"Everyone at Global Gathering is deeply saddened by this tragic news," said a fetival spokesman. "Our sincerest thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends at this time. We are assisting Warwickshire Police with their ongoing investigation."
Artists to perform across the two-day event include The Prodigy, Chase & Status, Netsky, Katy B and many more.
