Oasis have revealed details of another reissue from their back catalogue, with their seminal 1995 album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory’ set for a rerelease on 30 September through Big Brother Recordings.
Following a similar trend to the recent reissue of the Manchester band’s debut ‘Definitely Maybe’, the deluxe edition of the release will feature a wealth of bonus material including previously unheard demos of ‘She’s Electric’ and ‘Rocking Chair’.
A number of B-sides will also be included in the release, alongside more original demos of ‘Some Might Say’, ‘Hey Now’ and ‘Boneheads Bank Holiday’ as well as previously unreleased tracks from that era and live recordings.
As expected, the collection will be available in various formats, including a 3cd set, on 12 inch vinyl (with download code for bonus content) and a deluxe box set that includes a replica of the original promo copy as well as a 7 inch vinyl demo, a special edition cd and liner notes from Neil McCormick.
This collection reissues comes as part of the ‘Chasing the Sun’ series, which has seen an exhibition open in London recently, and the reissue of Oasis’ 1997 album ‘Be Here Now’ is expected in the near future.
The recent reissue of 'Definitely Maybe' saw frontman Liam Gallagher express his dismay through social media, tweeting negative points and in-turn urging fans not to buy to release.
